PLEASE HELPThese are baroque style Dutch silver or silver plated salt and pepper shakers. They have a lot of patina, and the caps are battered and somewhat corroded and green in places--the caps I think are brass. The designs feature a Dutch man and woman in old world clothing and clogs (two different pairs, on either side) with ornate detailing on the panels between. On the base, there is a windmill on one side and a ship on the other. Dutch trade ships? I don't know. Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Diane, I estimate your silver plated \\\"dutch scene\\\" salt and pepper shakers to be valued in the $25-50 dollar range. Here are similar salt and pepper shakers that are currently for sale in that price range: https://www.etsy.com/listing/216769231/salesilverplate-salt-pepper-shakers?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=vintage&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=silverplate%20salt%20and%20pepper%20shakers&ref=sr_gallery_22 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silverplate-DUTCH-Scenes-Salt-Pepper-Shakers-SPCo-L-K-/140252722053 |
