PLEASE HELPWould like to find out if a huge set of dishes has any value & the age of the set. It has markings on it of a crown & has the words Johnson Bros England & a very distinguishing gold dot to the right of the words down passed middle way of the plate.They have been handed down from generation & believe they are somewhere around 100 years old but not sure. Hi Kathy,
Johnson Brothers is currently in business but has been making dinnerware since well before the 1900. Some of the older patterns are still being produced, such as Old Britain Castles, Friendly Village, His Majesty and Rose Chintz.
